During the next week, from Monday July 26th to Sunday August 1st, the Elemental Evolution festival will take place in Turkey. The place to be is Mugla, near the city of Dalaman in the south west of Turkey. On the line-up plenty of Dacru artists. DigiCult, Ephedrix, Chronos and Sufi are the live acts and Nemesis and Hessell the dj's. For full festival info you can visit www.elementalevolution.net.

The Ghent city festival is coming up fast now. So also the Freestyle sessions are coming up. Friday July 16th we have the kick off for 11 consecutive nights. All info can be found on www.dacru.be/freestyle.

This coming weekend, from Friday July 9th to Sunday July 11th, the Sanctuary vs Shishu festival will take place somewhere in the western part of Flanders in Belgium. The event details have changed a bit from the original plan, but it still promises to be quite the enjoyable happening. Chronos will be playing a live act alongside mostly oldschool oriented artists.

Friday July 2nd there will be a cosy in- & outdoor festival at Schietgang in Hoboken, near Antwerp, Belgium. The party is titled Psychedelic Circus meets Phat Planet and some of the main attractions on the line-up are Chronos live act and Oonah dj set. Friday June 25th is the kick off date for the Chronos and Hessell Europe summer tour. This will happen at the SummerPsy 2010 party presented by PsySociety in Denmark. Next to the Mexican acts also DJ Oonah will play a set. For all three it will be the very first performence in a Scandinavian country! Saturday June 12th is the date for the 'Eclectic Time Disorder' party. It will take place in one of the nicer regions of this globe: Los Cabos, the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. Dacru is represented on the line-up by Mexicans Chronos and Hessell.

Saturday May 1st Chronos and Hessell will be playing live and dj at the Acid Colors 3 party in Puebla, Mexico. If you are a Poblano, then don't miss the opportunity to go and see them!

Saturday April 17th Chronos and Hessell are playing at the Trip Formation 2 party in Abasolo, a small town in Mexican state Guanajuato. Have a look at the flyer for more information.

Dacru Records will be presented at China's most important online radio that is dedicated to electronic music. Go to www.udancecn.com. We will get a full two hours during the Magic Garden Concept show. They will talk about the label, the artists, play some single tracks and also the Essentials mix will be aired in full. It will be on air on Shanghai time, that is Belgian (Central European) time minus 7 hours. Below is some more info about the exact times. Thursday should be the first chance to catch the show. We have also included the info in Chinese for all our Chinese visitors. A number, we are sure, that runs into the thousands :)

The local Belgian radio station Crazy FM will be airing Essentials Vol.1 mixed by Dj's Oonah & Bonas on Sunday January 31st. You can hear it between 23h and midnight Belgian time during the program 'Underground Alert' hosted by DJ Domi Rè. That's at 105.7 FM for Ghent and 105.2 FM for Eeklo.

Saturday February 6th is the day of the Stop The Time party, organized by the Solar Force crew. From Dacru Records they have invited two live acts: Chronos and Intelligence. Main act at the party will be Basic from top Israeli label BNE. The place to be is Mexico's capital, Mexico City.

During the weekend of January 9th & 10th the Muzza crew is organizing the Turnabout festival in Mexico City, Mexico. It looks like it will be a great way to kick in the 2010. On the line-up we see Chronos representing Dacru Records and other tasty names include Black & White, Dynamic, Exotic, Jey & Ex, Attik and many more. Monday September 21st Chronos is playing a live act in Japan's second city, Osaka. The crowd at Club Neo won't only hear the live act, but Hessell is also taking care of a dj set to please people's ears. The party is organized by the Neurosounds crew. The first weekend of September, from the 4th to the 6th is reserved for the Roenaissance festival in Italy! Also last year Dacru was represented at this amazing spot in the Alps near Bolzano and this year we are back with a nearly complete label presentation. Check their myspace for some impressions and if any way you can, then this festival is a must-attend! :)

The Aurora festival has only arrived at their second edition this year, but still it is rapidly becoming one of Europe's nicest events to look forward to. How else could it be with a line-up like that! No list of names here because it would just be too long, you can check it for yourself at their webpage www.aurorafestival.gr. Among the artists we can spot three Dacru names with DigiCult and Chronos visiting Greece for the first time and Ephedrix for the second time. The dates for this one are from August 19th to 24th.

This past weekend a good part of Dacru's Mexican artists were playing the Trance Orient Express party at the famous church of Ruigoord in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Saturday July 18th to Sunday there will be an open air event in Hattingen, near Wuppertal, in Germany. The name of the event is Bunter Galaxienzauber, which means as much as Magic Colorful Galaxy in English. On the line-up we see all the Dacru Mexicans: Lamat, F.F.T, Chronos and Hessell. Furthermore more Mexicans with Intelligence and Han Solo. Finally the line-up is completed with dj's from the organising Der Buntekreis crew.

This coming weekend, Saturday and Sunday July 4th & 5th, there will be a new edition of the Heron festival in Lommel, Belgium. This open air event is known for it's excellent organisation and general good atmosphere. Two stages are offered with 4 music styles: full on, old school, progressive and dark. With volume 5 coming soon, the Isratrance crew has upped a review of the previous one: Orientation Vol.4. Read it below:

 

It’s time for another compilation from Dacru Records concentrating on pure melodic full on. Most of these tunes sound massive, and when I mean massive I mean deep rolling bass lines with lots of shifts, huge melodies and a general feeling in some tracks of a newer Astral Projection. Lots of remixes here too, 4 of the 10 tracks are remixes. With most I don’t even know the originals, so I can’t go into a lot of detail here. Peace Maker’s remix to U-Recken vs. Nitro’s Eternity (T3), for example, is so massive and melodic that I can’t imagine the original being better. But, as I said, I never heard the original so I can’t really judge. What I like about this compilation is the fact that it manages to be melodic without becoming cheesy. The CD can bring a smile on your face, yet still retains a great psychedelic feeling throughout the tracks. The mastering brings this home too, Johannes Reigneir (Silicon Sound) has done a terrific job here, and his expertise in the full on realm can clearly be heard in the loving digital perfection he’s performed here. It was compiled by DJ Nemesis, who did a good job of making this sound like a DJ set. The tracks do have pauses between them but overall it still feels like a set. The prominent names here like Alternative Control, Gataka, U-Recken & Fatali should give you an idea of what this is all about. I’m not really going to point any favourites here because all the tracks have a certain edge to them. In this day of Israeli full on going bad with vocals and stupid experiments that don’t really help the music it’s refreshing to hear a full on compilation that does the job RIGHT. This is what this kind of music is supposed to sound like!

Recomendation:  It all boils down to this. Do you like your full-on with an edge, big basslines, great melodies and lots of drive to it? Don’t hesitate and get this. It has the edge you needs.

A next upcoming event for Chronos is the Buddha Groove 3 party in Zapopan this Saturday June 13th. Zapopan is a small town next to their home city Guadalajara in Mexico. Other live acts at the event include Quality Sound and Intelligence. It will be the last event they play in their home country before coming to Europe for the summer tour!

The small Japan tour with Aquila and Chronos went really well, their sets were very much appreciated in the three different events. The main event of the tour was of course the TPE records' Native Sound Control event in Tokyo. You can find a set of pictures from that in our pictures section on this website. This Saturday May 16th Chronos will be playing in Puebla, the beautiful colonial city near Mexico City in Mexico. We don't have much more party info available, but I'm sure you can find out if you should be in or around Puebla and wanting to go to the event.

We have a Japan tour coming up for our live projects Chronos and Aquila. Both acts will be touring the country of the rising sun from May 22nd to June 1st in a tour organised by TPE records. They will be playing 3 gigs, this is the full schedule:

The first two events will be smaller promotional gigs, but the last event is set to be a large TPE event with a couple of thousand attendants. Ten days ago Chronos was playing a live act the Beach festival 4, organized by Massive Trance at the beach in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Saturday April 25th is the date of the Stop The Time event in Mexico City, the capital of Mexico. Chronos will be playing a live act along a variety of Mexican artists. For full party info you can enlarge the flyer.

This weekend, at Saturday April 11th, Chronos will be playing at the 4th edition of the Massive Trance beach festival in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. A big crowd is expected to gather for this event with it being in semana santa and having a popular line-up. People can expect to see artists as Alien Project, Eskimo, Sesto Sento, Perplex, Gataplex and many more.

April 24th will be the release date of Psychofluid Vol.3, the newest compilation compiled by DJ Toltek for Morphonic records. This time the French label has decided on two tracks by Dacru artists. Ephedrix and Chronos. This is the release information:

Another event with Chronos on Mexican soil. Saturday March 28th they are playing their live act in Puerto Progreso, at the beach near Mérida, the capital of Yucatán. Because of busy times we didn't really warn you in time, but Chronos was playing at a big Skazi party in Tuxtla Gutierrez this past weekend. That city is located in the beautiful state of Chiapas in Mexico. With this they had the honor to sort of kick of the Mexico tour. full info on the tour is coming tomorrow! Promised!
