Finally Alternative Control is back with a new full album. Goran and Rastko, the duo behind the project don’t have to convince anyone anymore of their talent. After a successful first album, many compilations releases and co-operations with plenty of well known producers, the Serbians decided to steer their sound in a new direction.

On their long awaited second full album 'Alternating Current' they reinvented the Alternative Control sound, keeping their identity, but exploring new and exciting digital boundaries. Aquila are Thomas Van Hulle and Jonas Dryhoel, both born and raised in the city of Waarschoot, Belgium. These guys have built a strong reputation with their early work, and now their first full length offspring is sure to amaze the full on lover. Dacru Records and Rudraksh Records join forces to bring you this collection of 20 previously unreleased tracks ranging from morning to night-oriented full on music with a solid emphasis on twilight. The tracks were kindly donated as an act of solidarity by the artists and all the profit of this release will be donated to "Human Rights Watch" in India, and to the Gandhian village at Sevapur in Tamil Nadu. Daksinamurti came up with the idea of this compilation after shocking experiences in Pune / India in March 2007 where all 280 guests of a party were arrested on pure suspicion and were brutally treated by the police. Ahimsa is a Sanskrit term, meaning non-violence. It is a rule of conduct that forbids the killing or injuring of living beings. It is closely connected with the notion that all kinds of violence entail negative karmic consequences.

Fresh from Dacru headquarters: Orientation Vol. 3. The newest addition to the Orientation series, again carefully selected and nourished by DJ Nemesis at Dacru's home base of  Ghent, Belgium. Once more, a nice blend of established artists and new talents from Belgium hit the speakers.

Impressive tracks featured on this compilation include a remix of DigiCult's 'Leap of Faith' by DNA, Electro Sun this time being remixed by DJ Nemesis showing that quality can be maintained out of Israel as well. Another certainty for global dancefloors is Alternative Control's snappy The Punchline'. This all with Perplex' crystal production sprinkled 'On Top'.

Each of these artists are delivering some of their best work, certified to get plenty of airtime at dancefloors around the world. As usual a strong dose of homegrown Dacru talent isn't far away. Ephedrix, already participating in all Orientations, hits the spot once more in their trade marked style. New Dacru additions Aquila, confirming after the previous compilation and Sufi with his debut release show that the future of Belgian full on is in good hands.

The album kicks off with the crystal melodies of Chromosome to ease into the flow, followed by Farbo, a promising new Mexican talent. Track number 4 is an absolute favorite by Alternative Control & Bishop, previously unreleased and unique in its psychedelic groove. With Freakulizer on 6 we're stepping into some more serious blasting action. Barak is, with one of his patented stompers, definately the cream of the crop in originality.
